Barolo Brunate: Opening to a dark garnet color, the 2010 Barolo Brunate exhibits a great deal of focus and clarity that is further reinforced by the mineral character of the wine. Dark fruit, balsam herb, cola, spice and black tar peel off in generous layers. Like all of Voerzio’s wines this vintage, the Brunate shows a steady firmness of structure that is uncommon in 2010 (his plant density is a whopping 7,000 vines per hectare, a strong factor in terms of mouthfeel). Drink: 2017-2035.

Barolo Brunate: The 2010 Barolo Brunate is incredibly silky and polished in this vintage. Pine, menthol, licorice, black cherries and plums flesh out in a dark, gorgeous Barolo loaded with class and elegance. The Brunate can sometimes be a bit hulking in style, but in 2010 it is incredibly refined. The 2010 boasts striking depth, power and richness.

Barolo Cerequio: The 2010 Barolo Cerequio is a generous and full expression with a touch of tannic tightness at the end that bodes well for future aging. The wine is enormously generous in its display of ripe fruit aromas, spanning wild cherry to red currant. There’s a real sense of structure and power on the finish, backed by balanced acidity. Drink: 2016-2030.

Barolo Cerequio: The 2010 Barolo Cerequio is a stunner. Deep, layered and absolutely impeccable, the 2010 wraps around the palate with serious intensity and never lets up. In 2010 the Cerequio is surprisingly powerful, with darker tonalities of fruit and more spice notes than normal. The sweet, silky Cerequio tannins are there, but there is a volume and breadth in the 2010 that is impossible to miss. This is a breathtaking Barolo from Roberto and Davide Voerzio.

94+ Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate (June 2014)

Barolo La Serra: The 2010 Barolo La Serra shows a broader approach to its aromatic delivery with a generous portion of red fruit, blackberry and a touch of exotic spice. Like the Cerequio, the wine shows impressive grip and structure that goes above and beyond many of the other wines made in this delicate vintage. Barolo La Serra is focused and bright and should hold many long years. Drink: 2017-2033.

96 Antonio Galloni, Vinous (January 2014)

Barolo La Serra: Firm tannins give the 2010 Barolo La Serra much of its energy and cut. A brilliant wine, the 2010 bursts from the glass with freshly cut flowers, mint, sweet spices and licorice. As always La Serra has a certain tannic spine that is impossible to miss. In 2010 La Serra is striking. Sweet rose petals, red berries, mint and crushed rocks reappear on the bright, chiseled finish. This is a fabulous La Serra.

Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata: The 2010 Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata represents the first vintage that this single vineyard is bottled on its own (in the past, fruit from this vineyard was blended with the Torriglione cru). This wine is the sweetest of the bunch with bright cherry notes, even a touch of apricot, followed by soft, chewy tannins. The wine is luscious, supple and rich. This is the most immediate of Roberto’s new releases. Drink: 2017-2032.

97 Antonio Galloni, Vinous (January 2014)

Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata: Voerzio's 2010 Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata is strikingly beautiful. This is the first vintage in which there is no Torgglione, and it shows in the wine's remarkable finesse, nuance and detail. The 2010 boasts striking aromatics and a weightless, utterly captivating personality supported by the finest, most silky Nebbiolo tannins imaginable. This is the Musigny of Barolo and a wine of total pleasure.
